Excellent product. The only problem was that the product was delivered by pallet which can be a problem depositing it in the required position if you have inclines/gravel etc to be overcome.Whilst the delivery method is detailed extensively on the website it is something that should be considered, as we are talking heavy goods! Having said that we would have no hesitation in using Gravelmaster for our next project. See Review for turf ......

having skimmed what was left of our old lawn off after the children had virtually worn it out, i needed some more topsoil to bring it back to life and to the level it once was. the soil is deep brown in colour, a very good texture with minimal stone content but enough to allow for some drainage, easy to apply and it provided a very good base for the turf that arrived the following day, also ordered from gravelmaster ( very good quality ). it could, however, be useful to supply the coverage of the bulk bag in your details. i was told it would cover approx. 12sqm at a depth of around 50mm but i can't confirm this as the depth i needed varied between 10mm to 40mm. 1 bag was just about enough for my small lawn which covered around 33sqm. otherwise, great service and a great price.

Delivery driver very helpful as he could not put the soil on our gravel drive, so left 1 bag either side of drive entrance so we could stil get our cars in. he was very polite & helpful on the phone too. Generally, the soil was very good quality & fine. However, there was 1 large stone (over 6") in 1 bag and some lumps of sticky black stuff that went squdigy when I tried to 'de-lump' them, not sure what they were. However, would order from you again without hesitation as being able to choose a delivery day with no extra charge is fantastic.

Description

Our ProBlend Turfing soil has become extremely popular with many of our customers. All of the natural, necessary nutrients within this sandy loam dressing will provide the perfect base for spreading grass seeds upon and encourage healthy lawn growth at a consistent rate. We screen all our topsoil initially at 10mm to remove any oversize lumps and large stones. The resultant screened product is a friable soil that contains naturally occurring organic matter and a small amount of grit to assist with drainage.
